Josh and I spent Thanksgiving on our own, which means that we didn’t do any real Thanksgiving cooking. We had a nice dinner, but it definitely did not have all the trimmings. I really missed my sister’s pie.
Caley can really whip up a pie. She is a wizard at yummy crisps, pies, and cobblers. All of which are some of my favorite desserts. All that sweet, tart and texture rolled up into one perfect mouth watering treat.
Josh and I were talking about some of our favorite pies when we were reminiscing what we missed about Thanksgiving. Josh listed a long line of cream pies. Oh my, I had almost forgot about cream pies. How the hell did that happen?
I really wish we had an Emporium Pies around here because I don’t think this pie craving is going anywhere fast. I either need to get my very busy sister to make me one, make one of my own ( pastry crust is not my forte ), or head down to Carnitas Snack Shack and see what goodness Rachel ( she has recipes on her blog ) has brought them.
