I haven’t really been shopping in awhile. Mostly because I’ve been hating on my body, working at home (aka living in yoga pants), and every time I go to the mall I feel dirty. If I had the ducats I would shop at amazing vintage shops and Tucci. In this moment this is not the case, so I have been looking at some nice stuff that will refresh my wardrobe and last awhile. Here’s some of the things I’ve come up with. Are you all retooling your wardrobes too?

May 8, 2012 at 11:32 AMGod, I hate the mall. Actually, I kinda hate shopping (but I like having new clothes). Except online shopping, I seem to have no problem with that… with mixed results, of course.
I like your picks. Breezy, cool but structured. I'm planning on some light refreshing via sewing some tops/other stuff by copying some of my current (very simple) faves in new fabrics. Wish me luck 🙂

I'm wishing you luck on the copying part. I have had good and bad luck when it comes to that. I have 2 things cut out that I haven't sewn together. Since I don't have a sewing room I tend to go for the quick/instant gratification projects.
I've been looking for some good shift dress patterns, like the one up above. I haven't seen any. Sometimes I think with all the searching time/money wise I would be better off buying it right away and wearing it 😉
