Favorite Things

I have been meaning to post about a few things and I was getting into a minor panic about it. I tend to make small tasks seem much more time consuming than they really are (hello bookkeeping).

I have been enjoying all of Ann Marie’s posts about being outdoors. Her trips are lust worthy and she really is making me re-evaluate the importance of city dwelling.

Laure’s blog At Home At Home always inspires me, but her latest post on taking some time out really got me. Not only is she going to relax in Paris, but she gets to look out on that amazing courtyard (I’m a huge fan of Richard Linklater, so I didn’t even have to think of what movie that courtyard was from).

I started this blog just for myself. I never planned on keeping up with my lovely friends, meeting people as a result of it or connecting to others. I love that it’s turned into that. More than that I love all of the blogs that I read on a daily basis. I laugh, cry, get inspired, cook as a result, lust after stuff… the list goes on and on. Most importantly I dream. I dream bigger and more grounded as a result of life shared.

Sarah and Eric’s purchase of their farm is so inspiring. Go over and check it out if you haven’t. Dream come true. So cool.

Sorry for the free writing, but that’s just how I roll. Lastly I would like to share some wool socks. I love wool socks. My feet freeze when the weather gets even a little chilly. I’m really into Smartwool. I have a couple pairs and they can really take a beating. Here’s to warm feet and warm hearts.

I love that I get to connect with you even more now that I live so far away because I have time to see you online. Crazy, but it might be true. I still miss the face to face, though. xo
