Pizza of the Week

I am super excited for a great new blog to read. Salt, teak and fog is great. I am really excited for Blake’s Pizza of the Week posts.

I made the baby artichoke pizza last night and Josh loved it. Josh is how culinary success is measured in my house a) because he is the only other person living here besides me and b) because he has a very strong opinion.

I cheated a little because I used Trader Joe’s whole wheat pizza dough. I’m afraid of most forms of baking, so this is as close as I think I will get to homemade pizza. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next since I can’t make it down to the Blind Lady often enough.

Thanks again, Jora for a spot on food tip. Image Via: salt teak & fog

I can't believe I've never clicked on Blake's blog. I always see her in Jora's comments. What a great find!

Oh hello there pizza fan! So happy you gave the pizza a try. Kudos to you for the whole wheat option — if we can figure out how to make our dough whole wheat, then perhaps I can tempt you into giving it a try 🙂 A have another Spring pizza in the works for this w/e, so stay tuned…

They are the best. And since I've been reading Blake's blog I've bought The Flavor Bible and made some great pizzas of my own. When some of my freelance pipes down I will share.
